Biscuits and Gravy

Whisk

6 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
2 t. sugar
1 t. salt

Mix liquid ingredients separately

2 cup buttermilk
6 T. oil

Mix dry and wet ingredients.

Use 1/4 cup measure to scoop batter onto baking sheet, lined with parchment paper.

Bake 12-14 minutes at 450 deg F.

Cook sausage in a pan and remove.

In same pan, add bacon grease if needed and heat. Then add

1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. sage
1 tsp dry rosemary

Whisk in 2 cups broth. Simmer 1 minute. Add salt and pepper and sausage. Serve gravy with biscuits.
