Blackeyes

Cook 1 lb bacon.

Add and sautee

2 cups chopped onion
2 cups chopped bell pepper
1 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic

Add

3 cups water
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 t. chili powder
2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 t. oregano
About 10 cups of blackeyes

Simmer 20 minutes.
