Cheesy Chickpeas #vegan

Method #1

Drain and save aquafaba

1 can Chickpeas

Dry chickpeas & remove skins

Blend Powder

1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cayanne Pepper
1/2 tsp Red Crushed Pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Annatto
1/2 tsp Lactic Acid (Adds to the cheesy flavor)
1/2 tsp Corn Starch
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Chili Powder

Sprinkle Small Amount of Olive Oil on Chickpeas

Using a collinder sprinkle the powder over the chickpeas and then stick them in an air frier @ 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Mist with aquafaba. Then add more of the powder. Place in air frier for another minute.

Method #2

Don’t add powder first, but put in oven for 1 hour at 225 degrees.

Blend powder

1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast
1/2 tsp Lactic Acid (Adds to the cheesy flavor)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Corn Starch

Mist with aquafaba. And immediately add powder.

Cook @ 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
