Nut Bars with Chocolate Drizzle #lc

Makes 16-24 Bars

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Chop:

3 oz Roasted or raw nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
3 oz pitted dates

Beat egg white to soft peaks.

1 egg white

Mix above with:

1 1/2 cups quinoa flakes
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of Salt
1/4 cup Olive oil

Press into baking pan and bake for 30 minutes or until firm and golden. Cool for 1 hour.

Melt chocolate and drizzle over cooked and cooled bar before cutting. Allow chocolate to cool.

4 oz dark chocolate (70% or higher)

Cut into bars.
